What happens during a treatment

E-mail

Starting with an initial consultation and case history I will then discuss a course of  reflexology treatment with you.  reflexology

This may include VRT, Conventional Reflexology or a combination of both.

During the treatment I will work on your feet, calves and occasionally your hands. The treatment will end with a short foot massage using aromatherapy oils. You may feel a slight discomfort in early reflexology treatments as the feet are worked. This is quite normal and usually disappears as balance returns to the body.

After your treatment I will give you aftercare advice and some self-help techniques.

How long will it take?

A treatment usually lasts between 50 minutes and one hour. This may also involve Vertical Reflex Therapy (VRT).
A VRT treatment on its own will last between 15 and 30 minutes. There are different charges for both treatments.

It may be beneficial to recieve weekly reflexology treatments, however many people do notice changes in their well being immediately so one off treatments can also be very beneficial.
